Volunteers Dedicated to Free Genealogy

My name is Veneta McKinney and I am your Alabama state host.  Our goal at Genealogy Trails is to help you track your ancestors through time by transcribing genealogical and historical data and placing it online for the free use of all researchers. We welcome your feedback and comments, and of course, your data contributions. If you have data that you would like to have posted on this website, please contact us.

We regret that we are unable to perform personal research for folks!
All data we come across will be added to this site.
We thank you for visiting and hope you'll come back again to view the updates we make to this site.

If you are interested in joining our group and becoming a state or county host, view our Volunteer Page for further information.

If you would like to be kept informed of our state and county website updates, subscribe to our mailing lists

If you have information that you'd like to share about any town, family, county or subject, please send it to us and we'll make sure it gets posted to the right county. We are looking for Biographies, Obituaries, Newspaper Stories, History and Family stories - the things you used to put together your family trees (rather than the trees themselves :-)
