Alabama Queries
Elizabeth DAVIS WOOD
I'm
searching for the parents of Elizabeth Davis Wood. Born Jan. 30th 1830 and
died Feb. 22nd 1906. Buried at Lynn's Crossing Antioch
Baptist Church. Possibly from Horse Creek, Alabama or Tenn. She may
have been native American or Portuguese and Native mix. She was married to
John Hosea Wood who died in the Civil War. She lived in Lynn's/Linnes
Crossing Alabama after his death. All I'm finding about her parents is a
father known only as Mr. Davis born sometime around
1801. Elizabeth was my GGG Grandmother and she is the only
mystery so far in my family history search. If anyone has info
on this family please contact me. Here is her picture.
