Roger A. HarvilIe, son of retired Air Force Tech. Sgt. and Mrs. Herman W. Harviile of Bay Minette, recently completed a U.S. Air Force ROTC field training encampment at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. The cadet is a student at Auburn University.

Army Pvt. Charles A. Lay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mal Lay of Foley, has completed basic training at Fort Benning, Ga. Lay is a 1980 graduate of Foley High School.

Airman Brian L. Marney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Marney of Fairhope, has been assigned to Indian Springs, Nev., after completing Air Force basic training. Marney is a 1981 graduate of Fairhope High School.

Army Pvt. John D. Baker, son of Dr. and Mrs. Wilmer E. Baker of Fairhope, has completed basic training at Fort McClellan, Ala.

Army Pvt. Michael M. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. James G. Johnston of Fairhope, has completed basic training at Fort McClellan, Ala.

Airman 1st Class Ronald B. Stewart, son of James W. Stewart of Bay Minette and Gloria A.
Stewart of Chicaswa, Ala., has graduated from the U.S. Air Force aircraft agress mechanic course at Chanute Air Force Base, Ill. Stewart will serve at Birmingham Municipal Airport with the 117th Consolidated Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. He is a 1979 graduate of Vigor High School.

Army Pvt. Michael M. Johnston, son of Mr. and Mrs. James G. Johnston of Fairhope, has completed basic training at Fort McClellan, Ala.

Army Pvt. Alan R. Shadix, son of Samuel D. Shadix of Robertsdaie, has completed basic training at Fort McClellan, Ala. He is a 1979 graduate of Moore High School, Louisville, Ky.

Army Pvt. Ray N. Stevens, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel Cox Sr. of Bay Minette, has completed basic training at Fort Gordon, Ga. Stevens is a 1981 graduate of Baldwin High School in Bay Minette.

Senior Airman Michael G. Levels, son of Mr. and Mrs. Winford G. Levels of Daphne, has been decorated with the U.S. Air Force Commendation Medal at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. The award is presented to individuals who demonstrate outstanding achievement or meritorious service in the performance of duties on behalf of the U.S. Air Force. Levels, a 1977 graduate of New Fairfield High School, Conn., is an administrative specialist with the 3201st Air Base Group.

Army Pvt. Thomas J. Goodletson, son of Clifford J. Goodletson of Fairhope, has completed basic training at Fort Knox, Ky.

Army Sgt. Danny L. Prim, son of Mattie L. Prim of Foley, has participated in. "Reforger '81," a series of training exercises conducted by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization forces in Europe. Prim, a gunner with the 3rd Armored Division in Kirch-Goens, West Germany, joined with members of his unit to provide support for the United States
and allied forces taking part in this annual exercise. Nearly 17,000 people along with 27,000 tons of equipment were sent to Europe from the United States in support of the exercises. He is a 1975 graduate of Foley High School.

Airman Ricky L. Brannon, son of Lester R. Brannon of Foley, has been assigned to Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, after completing Air Force basic training.

Army Spec. 4 Henry F. Jolley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank F. Jolley of Spanish Fort, has arrived for duty at Kornuestheim, West Germany. Jolley, a military police specialist with the 385th Military Police Battalion, was previously assigned at Fort Bliss, Texas. He is a 1970 graduate of Fairhope High School.

Army Pvt. 2 Robert S. Sealy, son of Calvin C. Sealy of Fairhope, has arrived for duty in
Augsburg, West Germany. Sealy, a cryptoligic technician with the 2nd Operations Battalion, is a 1980 graduate of C.F. Vigor High School in Prichard.

Craig H. Wofford, son of T.R. Wofford of Spanish Fort, has been appointed a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. Wofford is an air traffic control specialist with the 2146th Communications Group at Osan Air Base, South Korea.

Airman Jack A. Hepler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hepler of Robertsdale, has been assigned to Lowry Air Force Base, Colo., after completing Air Force basic training. The airman how will receive specialized instruction in audio-visual procedures.
