Aleatha Faye Abercrombie

Aleatha Faye Abercrombie, born October 26, 1921, a native of Cox Station Maplesville, AL., a former resident of Robertsdale and a current resident of Mobile, AL died Monday, June 16, 2008. She was a 1940 graduate of Robertsdale High School. Mrs. Abercrombie worked as an Inventory Control Manager for McKisson Robin Drug Company from March 1942 until retiring in March 1982. She was a member of American Business Women, Central Baptist Church, Mobile. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T.V. Abercrombie, Sr., sisters, Lula Mae McHugh and Irene J. Abercrombie and her brother, T.V. Abercrombie, Jr. She is survived by: sisters Jessie Rae Abercrombie, Sue A. (Robert) Buck, all of Mobile, AL., and Betty Thrower of Milledgeville, GA.; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 10:00a.m. at Mack Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Pierce officiating and with burial in Fairhope Memory Gardens. A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2008 from 6p.m. until 8p.m. at Mack Funeral Home. Pallbearers will include, Tommy Abercrombie, Gene McHugh, Marion McHugh, Jr., Alan Thrower, Gary Thrower and Jim Dally. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, 998 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, AL 36605 or to your favorite charity. Funeral arrangements are by MACK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Hwy 59, Robertsdale, AL.
