Deacon "Sam" Abrams

STOCKTON - Funeral services will be held Saturday for Deacon Charlie "Sam" Abrams, 75, of Stockton. The Stockton native died Friday, Nov. 27, 1998.

Abrams is survived by his wife, Willie Mae Abrams of Stockton; three daughters, Lois Graves and Demetrice Jackson, both of Stockton, and Minnie Wright of New York; and one son, Bennie Bonner of Pensacola.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Greater St. John Baptist Church in Stockton. His body will lie in state for one hour prior to the services. Pastor P.M. Waller will officiate.

Burial will follow in Robinson Cemetery in Stockton.

Baldwin Community Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Minette is handling the arrangements.
