Frances D Abker

Frances D. Abker, 83, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2006. She was a native of Gerard, Ohio, and a resident of Orange Beach.

Abker was an active member of the Orange Beach Senior Activity Center and a volunteer with the American Cancer Society.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Abker of Seattle and Thomas Abker of Orange Beach; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Thomas by the Sea Catholic Church in Orange Beach with the Rev. David Carucci officiating. A reception will follow the service in the church hall.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to Orange Beach Senior Activity Center, attention Carolyn Vines, P.O. Box 458, Orange Beach, AL 36561.

Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale.
