Franklin Roosevelt Brackin
Franklin Roosevelt Brackin, 76, a native of Alabama and a resident of Loxley since
1978, died Sunday, April 12, 2009.
He was a member of the Association for Retarded Citizens of Baldwin County and
was known for bicycling in Loxley with flags on the back of his bike. He visited all the
merchants in Loxley every day and loved the Strawberry Festival.
Survivors include two brothers, one sister and the Town of Loxley.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 15 at the Loxley Civic Center. Burial
followed at Dyess Cemetery in Robertsdale.
Pallbearers were Mayor Billy Middleton, Loxley Police Department and the Loxley Fire
Department.
The family requests memorial donations bbe made to the Loxley Volunteer Fire
Department, P.O. Box 32, Loxley, AL 36551
Arrangements were made by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
