BROMLEY - Jim Lloyd Adams, who had served as a deacon at Bromley Baptist Church, died Friday at a local nursing facility. He was 82. Adams, a native of Andalusia, Ala., was a longtime resident of Bromley. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Alice Rider Adams of Bromley; two daughters, Nadine A. May of Flower Mound, Texas, and Julia Louise Wright of Daphne; a sister, Nobie Henderson of Pensacola; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Wolfe Funeral Home in Daphne. Viewing will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Bromley Baptist Church, followed by services at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Bay Minette Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bromley Baptist Church Building Fund or a favorite charity.
