Mrs. Mattie Watts Conway — Native of Natches, Ala., resident of Bay Minette, Ala., died in a Bay Minette Hospital Saturday, Feb. 5, 1972. She is surived by four sons, David Conway, Clyde Conway, and Charles W Conway, all of Bay Minette and Myles Conway, Boston, Mass.;
five daughters, Mrs. Roda Hastings and Mrs. Virgie Henson, both of Bay Minette, Mrs. Annie Pate and Mrs. Julia Wilson, both of Prichard, Ala., and Mrs. Iva Gideons, Pensacola, Fla.; one sister, Modie Metis, Uriah, Ala.; 27 grandchildren and 23 great-gran dchiMren. Funeral services were held from the Calvary Baptist Church, Pine Grove, Ala., Monday, Feb. 7, 3972, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Dewitt Thompson and Rev. Don Clark officiating. Interment was in Pine Grove Cemetery. Johnson-Quimby-Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette, Aia., in charge of arrangements.
