Pelham Dewey Chastang Jr., 68, a native of Baldwin County residing in Orange Beach, died Feb. 13, 2002.Survivors include his wife, Linda Chastang of Orange Beach; two sons and daughters-in-law, Shane and Robin Chastang and Dwayne and Andrea Chastang, all of Bay Minette; one daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Tom Carpenter of Orange Beach; brother and sister-in-law, James and Mary Chastang of Bay Minette; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Larry Catrett of Stockton and Anna and Andy Pontius of Birmingham; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.A memorial service was held Feb. 16 at New Life Baptist Church, Bay Minette with the Rev. Otis Thames officiating.Arrangements were by Wolfe Funeral Home, Daphne.
