Samuel Adams
Samuel Jones Adams, 94, of Rt. 1, Spanish Fort, died Monday, Dec. 18 at a Fairhope hospital following a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 2 p.m. from Dyas Assembly of God Church. Burial was in Bay Minette Cemetery, Johnson Funeral Home of Atmore directing. Survivors include eight daughters, Mrs. Fannie B. Blair, Panama City,Mrs. Myrtice Dawkins, Brewton, Mrs. Bertie L. Frazier, Gulfport, Miss., Mrs. Rosie Lee Summerlin, Spanish Fort, Mrs. Lois Cock, Atlantic City, N.J., Mrs. Beulah Sanks, Dyas, Ala., Mrs. Nobie Henderson, Pensacola, Fla., and Mrs. Mary Dean of Perdido, Ala.; four sons, John Adams, Perdido, Joseph Adams, Spanish Fort, Lloyd Adams, Bay Minette and George Adams, Century, Fla.; also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
