MRS. J. M. BEGGS
With
sorrow we chronicle the death of Mrs. J.M. Beggs of our town which sad
event occurred on Monday morning at 4 o'clock. She had been sick
with measles only a few days, and her death was very
unexpected. She leaves a husband and two children, one of which is
an adopted daughter. A more extended notice of her death may be
given hereafter.

DEATH OF T. M. BURGESS
AN OLD SETTLER OF CLEBURNE.
Edwardsville, March 30.--(Special.)--T. M. Burgess
one of the old settlers of this county died a few days ago and was
buried at Cane Creek Church. He had been residing near here since the
first settlement of this county by the whites. There are but few of the
pioneers left here now.
