A large steam ginnery belonging to Mr. JOHN H. KASTER of Cullman was destroyed by fire on Sept. 28th. The fire started in the lint room and despite the efforts of the citizens the building together with all of its contents was destroyed. The loss is estimated at $10,000 with but little insurance.

Shang Gamble was knocked in the head and badly hurt at Cullman recently by a man named Hudson.

The Loan and Building Association of Cullman has ninety-seven members.
