CIRCUIT COURT ADJOURNED ON WEDNESDAY.
Trial Results For Past Week Given.

Circuit Court adjourned here Wednesday afternoon and will not convene again before the non-jury term in December. Judge Horton will be here next Wednesday to pass on several legal motions. Many cases were continued or nol prossed. Those which went to trial are given below:

Marion Woods charged with murdering Felix Williams last April, was declared not guilty and freed by the jury after a few moments of deliberation.

Thomas House, charged with manufacturing whiskey, found guilty and sentenced to 1 year and 1 day.

Bruce Durham, charged with assault with a weapon, found guilty and fined $250.00.

Horace B. Parker, charged with burglary, ordered transferred to Bryce Insane Hospital for treatment and turned back to the Sheriff when cured.

Noah Leggett, charged with murder in connection with the death of Arly Bennefield, continued.

Dolphus Martin, charged with transporting whiskey, found guilty, sentenced to 1 year and 1 day.

Hoyt Adamson, charged with assault with a weapon, plead guilty, sentenced to hard labor for 9 months.

Earl Caudell charged with assault and battery, found not guilty.

Oda Hall, charged with seduction found not guilty.

Riley Fryer, charged with larceny, found guilty, sentenced to 1 year and 1 day.

H. M. Bohannon, charged with selling mortgaged property, found guilty, sentenced to 18 months, appealed.

Claude leathers, charged with assault with a weapon, found guilty and fined $25.00.

Jim Dunn, charged with burglary and grand larceny, found not guilty.

Oscar Frucks, charged with burglary and grand larceny, plead guilty to attempt at burglary, fined $50.00.

Louie Johnston, manufacturing whiskey, jury and verdict of attempt to manufacture whiskey, fined $50.

Walter and Talmadge Wilhite, assault with a weapon, found guilty and fined $10 each.
