Marriage of Popular Young North Alabama Couple.Cullman, May 30--(Special.)--Miss Pearl Nix of Carrolton, Ga., and Mr. lee Lassiter of Cullman, were married at the home of the bride's parents at Carrollton, Tuesday. Miss Pearl is the handsome yound daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.N. Nix, who, for a number of years, resided in Cullman. Mr. Lassiter is one of Cullman's best business men and is connected with the firm of Sparks & Chance.

Wedding Quite a Surprise to the Vicinity of Cullman.Cullman, Feb. 22,--Mrs. Lottie Hipp, mother of late Senator R. L. Hipp, was married Wednesday afternoon to J. N. Smith, of Pendleton, S. C. Rev. W. H. Anfdehaar, of the Lutheran church officiating. The wedding was quite a surprise to the friends of the contacting parties, as the couple are nearly related by marriage and matrimonial intentions were not thought of. Mr. and Mrs. Smith will leave Saturday for Pendleton, S. C., where they will make their home.

Cullman Girl is Bride of Seattle Man.Cullman, June 23,--(Special.)--The marriage of Miss Evelyn Fuller and Dr. Alfred A. Thurlow took place in this city Wednesday at the First Baptist Church.
The hour of the wedding was high noon. The bride was pretty in her going-away gown of ashes and roses. She entered with her maid of honor, Miss Lucia Morris, who formerly was a schoolmate of the bride at the Judson. The maid of honor was attired in white and carried white sweet peas. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Forney Fuller, as best man. Madames F. E. St. John, Asa, Harry and Dwight C. Fuller, all gowned in white with black picture hats and carrying pink sweet peas, were the dames of honor. Messrs. Halbrooks, Parker, James and Griffin acted as ushers.
Proceeding the ceremony, there was a solo, "I Love You," by Mr. Lott Jones and Mrs. G. W. Bledsoe sang "The Garden of Love." The bridal chorus from Lohengrin was played by Mrs. G. Hartung as the bridal party entered.
The guest then went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Asa B. Fuller, where luncheon was served.
Dr. and Mrs. Thurlow left here for their distant home, Seattle, Wash. going by way of Nashville. They will be at home to their friends after July 5 at Seattle.
