Mrs. EMMA CARR ALMON
Graveside service for Mrs. Emma Carr Almon, 84, of 1800 Cornwall Road, Hoover, who died Tuesday, will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at Elmwood, Valley Chapel directing. She was a former member of First United Methodist Church and a charter member of Shades Mountain Independent Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. E. T. Glass, III, Birmingham; and two sons, Charles C. Almon, St. Croix, U. S. Virgin Islands, and Sam L. Almon, Oklahoma City.

DAVID L. BROWN
Funeral for David L. Brown, 76, of Fairfield, Calif., who died Monday, will be at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at Brown Service, Bessemer, with burial at Valhalla. He was a member of the Senior Citizens Association of Fairfield and was a former Bessemer resident. He was a retired millwright of Pullman Standard of Bessemer. Survivors include two sons, Danny W. Brown, Sr., Hueytown, and D. L. Brown, Ellabell, Ga.; a daughter, Mrs. Gail J. Mitchell, Fairfield, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Lucille Wright, Millport.

MAUDIE MAE CARTER
Mrs. Maudie Mae (Lock Yarbrough) Carter - Graveside services for Mrs. Maudie Mae Carter, 82, of Saraland, who died Tuesday, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Elmwood, Valley Chapel directing. She was a former Birmingham resident. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Louis L. Furr, Saraland, and a son, Willard R. Yarbrough, Birmingham.
The Elmwood Cemetery Company order of interment dated February 2, 1978 states: Maudie Mae Yarbrough Carter #7, born July 11, 1885 and died January 31, 1978 in Crypt Lot W260 168 Building Block 1, on February 3, 1978. (J. B. Yarbrough Family Plot.)

Mrs. SUE JANE CASSETT
Mrs. Sue Jane Cassett, 85, of Rt. 2, Box 119, Aliceville, who died today in Aliceville, was a native of Pickens County. Funeral will be Nov. 22 at Providence Baptist Church in Aliceville, with burial in the church cemetery. Smith & Gasten directing. Survivors include two daughters, Miss Betty Mae Cassett of Aliceville and Mrs. Annie Lee West, Birmingham; a son, Phil Williams, Birmingham, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Mayhew, Detroit, Mich.

Mrs. COATS
Graveside services for Mrs. Charles Coats, 86, 3033 Canterbury Rd., Mountain Brook, who died Sunday at her home, were held today at Grove Hill Cemetery, Angwin's Mortuary Center officiating. A Choctaw County native, Mrs. Coats was a member of the Gulf Beach Baptist Church, West Panama City Beach, Fla.
Survivors include two sons, Robert B. Coats, Sunnyside, Fla., and Charles A. Coats, Jr., Birmingham; a daughter, Mrs. Andrew B. Park, Mountain Brook.

J. A. COCHRANBirmingham, Ala., July 9--J. A. Cochran, one of the best known citizens of Ensley, died Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock, at the residence of his son, William Cochran, at Corey. Mr. Cochran was about 75 years of age, a Confederate veteran and a member of the Ensley Masonic Lodge. He has been in ill health for some time and his death was not unexpected.
The funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock from his late home, 2806 Ave. G. Interment will be at Oakland cemetery, Ensley. The Confederate Veterans and Masons will attend the funeral in a body. Two of Mr. Cochran's children live in Ensley, Alex and WIll Cochran.

JOHN RAYMOND CONLEY
Graveside service for John Raymond Conley, 72, of 2401 Columbiaana Road, who died Tuesday, will be at 2 p.m. today at Elmwood, Elmwood Chapel directing. He was a member of the Episcopal Church and was retired from the U. S. Postal Service. He was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Wilhelmina Conley; a son John Raymond Conley, Jr., Vestavia, and two brothers, Paul Wesley and Benjamin Clifton Conley, both of Scottsboro.
