W. P. CROUCH IS DEAD.

Columbus, Ga., Sept. 21--(Special)--W. P. Crouch, aged 54 years, died yesterday at his home in this city. Interment was at Jackson's Gap, Ala., today.

CHARLES HENDERSON, one of the oldest and best known citizens of this county, died at his home at Jackson Gap at 6 o'clock this evening. He is survived by a large family.

S. K. MCCLENDON, an old and highly respected citizen of the county, died at his home at Jackson's Gap last Saturday and was buried yesterday. Mr. McClendon was a gallant Confederate soldier and many of his old comrades will hear with regret of his death. He is survived by a widow and a large family of children.

DEATH OF J. MACK OLIVER.
He Was One Of Dadeville's Best Known Business Men.

Dadeville, Nov. 17.--(Special)--J. Mack Oliver, one of Dadeville's best known business men, died at his home here yesterday morning at 6 o'clock. Mr. Oliver has been in bad health for a number of years and his death was not unexpected. The funeral services were conducted by the Knights of Pythias at the Dadeville cemetery today at 11 o'clock. The deceased was nearly 40 years old and had been actively engaged in the mercantile business here for about twenty years, during which time he had accumulated a considerable fortune. Mr. Oliver is survived by a widow and six small children besides one brother, S. J. Oliver of this place, and one sister, Mrs. J. M. Watkins of Opelika.

DADEVILLE WOMAN DIES AS RESULT OF RUNAWAY MISHAP

(Special to The Advertiser.)

DADEVILLE, ALA, May 15--Mrs. G. J. Sorrell, wife of Judge of Probate G. J. Sorrell, was thrown from a buggy by a runaway horse, about noon today, and was so badly injured that she died at 5 o'clock this afternoon. Mrs. Sorrell is survived by her husband and two children.
