Funeral services for
Mrs. Ada Englebert (Ada Drucilla Chism), 73, who died Sunday afternoon
at Druid City Hospital, were to be held at 4pm today from the Cottondale
Methodist Church with burial in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park by Joens and
Spigener.
Active pallbearers were
to be Charles, Seldon, Franklin and Gene Englebert, Pelham Herren and
Lee Clay.
The deceased resided at
Cottondale. She was a member of the First Baptist Church here for 50
years and was a Gold Star mother.
Surviving are one
daughter Miss Lola Englebert, Cottondale; two sons, W. N. Englebert,
Cottondale; and W. N. Englebert, Tuscaloosa, two brothers, Murk A.
Chism, Tuscaloosa; and W. H. Chism, Birmingham; two sisters Mrs. E. G.
Stanton, Birmingham; and Mrs. S. T. Vinson, Gadsden; seven grandchildren
and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones and
Spigener Chapel tomorrow at 2pm for Early Bruce Englebert, 50 who died at
Druid City Hospital Sunday morning.
Burial will be
in Pate Cemetery at Buhl. The Rev L.S. Channell and the Rev C.C.
Willcut will conduct the services.
Surviving are the widow; two daughters, Mrs Earldine
Glenn, Tuscaloosa and Mrs Helen Miller Greenwood, Miss; three sons B.L.
Englebert and Stanley Englebert, Tuscaloosa; Thomas L Englebert, Memphis,
Tenn; five sisters, Mrs Beatrice Englebert; and Mrs Elsie Horne,
Tuscaloosa; Mrs Estella Adams, Rome GA; Mrs Velma Rushing, Greenwood,
Miss; Mrs Clara Ray, Sr. Petersburg, Fla; three brothers, Claude
Englebert, St Petersburg, Fla; Milton Englebert, Charleston, SC and Lee
Englebert, Lambert, Miss.
Active pallbearers will be Albert, Buddy and Willie
Rice; J. B. Odie and Franklin Englebert. Honorary pallbearers will
include Brady Kirkland, Ludie Lake, Lester Boatner, Julian Morris,
Artie Rice, T.S. Latner, Ernest Elmore.

John M Englebert. Funeral Services
for John Milton Englebert, 53 of North Charleston, SC will
be held at 2pm Friday at Spigener-Brown Service with the Rev.
LS Channell and the Rev Guy Glendenning officiating.
Masonic graveside services and burial will be in
the Pate Cemetery at Buhl. Mr. Englebert died Tuesday at the home
of a brother, Lee Englebert of Hollandale, Miss while on vacation.
The son of the late John and Mary Englebert of Tuscaloosa, he was a member of
Masonic Lodge 232 in North Charleston a Baptist and had
been active in civic affairs. He was a Navy Veteran
of World War II and was a civilian employee of the
Navy Department at the time of his death.
Survivors in addition to his brother in Mississippi include
another brother, Claudie Englebert of St. Petersburg, Fla; four sisters,
Mrs Velma Rushing of Jackson, Miss., Miss Beatrice Englebert of
Tuscaloosa, Mrs. Clara Rogers of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs Elsie
Maddox of Newton, Ala; several nieces and nephews.

MARY ENGLEBERT
Mrs. Mary Englebert succumbs, aged 73. Mrs
Mary Alice Englebert 73 of Tuscaloosa Route 4, died Saturday morning at
Druid City Hospital. Funeral home services will be held at 2pm
today from the First Baptist Church of the Nazarene with the Reverend
T.B. Wesson and the Rev R.J. Espery officiating. Burial will
follow in the Pate Cemetery, Jones and Spigener in charge.
Surviving include five daughters, Mrs Joe
Englebert, Mrs Raymond Horne, Mrs J.A. Barron of Rome Georgia, Mrs H.D.
Adams, also of Rome, and Mrs Jessie Rushing of Greenwood, Mississippi,
four sons, Early Englebert and Claudie Englebert of St. Petersburg,
Florida , Lee of Marke, Mississippi, and Milton Englebert of Charleston,
SC. She also leaves 40 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren
and a sister, Mrs. John Wooden of Chattanooga.
Active pallbearers for the funeral will be Lloyd
Flora, Zerna Rhines, Mack Warren, Hale Armistead, and Mack Armistead.
Honorary pallbearers will include Hester Lake, George Fields and
J.W. Harrell.

Mertie B Englebert 87, of 924 22nd Ave E. Died Aug
7 1994, at home. Services are scheduled for 2pm Tuesday at Memory Chapel
Funeral Home. The Rev. Edwin King will officiate, with burial in
Tuscaloosa Memorial Park.
Survivors include two sons; a stepson, a daughter;
23 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and and 35 great great
grandchildren.
The
family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral
home.

Funeral services for Robert
Washington Englebert 60, a resident of the Rosedale section were held at
2 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the Arbor Springs church near Samantha
with burial in the church cemetery by Mathis-Jones.
Mr Englebert died at his home
Friday afternoon after a lingering illness. He is survived by his
widow, Mrs Amanda Englebert, two daughters, Mrs Clevie Cramer of Herrin,
Ill, and Mrs Urid Partee of Gary, Ind, and two sons T.D. and Brown
Englebert of Tuscaloosa.

T. J. Englebert Dies After Long Illness
Thomas Jefferson Englebert, 43, died at his home
in this city at 3:00 a.m. Tuesday after an illness of over two years.
Funeral services were held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hopewell
Baptist Church, J.D. Foster in charge. Interment in the church
cemetery followed.
Surviving are, the widow, Mrs Icy Hill
Englebert, Tuscaloosa; one son, B.B. Englebert; four daughters, Mattie
Bell, Edna Merial, Mary, Frances and Marie Englebert; one sister, Mrs
Mary Fitts; three brothers, Bob, Joe and Charley Englebert; two half
brothers, Will and Searcy Englebert.
The deceased was a member of the Baptist Church
of Samantha, this county.
