Ruby Lee Crump
Funeral services for Ruby Lee Crump, 62, will be held at 7 p.m.
Wednesday at Kehl's Forest Lawn Mortuary with visitation beginning at 6 p.m. She died Monday in Anchorage.
She was born Jan. 23, 1923, in Serverville, Tenn., and moved to Alaska from Sylvester, Ga., in 1976. She was a
homemaker and a Baptist minister's wife. Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Ira Crump of Anchorage; sons,
Charles Crump of Wasilla, David Crump of Anchorage and Edward Crump of Kentucky; three daughters, Ellen Marshall
of Florida, Bernice Horne of Georgia, and Kassi McDonald of Anchorage; sisters, Clara of Orlando, Fla., Margaret
Gregory of Reston, Va., Lotta and Wanda, both of Nashville, Tenn.; brothers, Bill Rolen of Alexandria, Va., and
Gerald Rolen of Nashville, Tenn.
Burial will be at a later date in the Isabella Baptist Church Cemetery, Sylvester, Ga.

Huddleston - Hastings
Old Timers Die
The latest mail brings the report of the deaths of two well known old timers. They are W.H.
Huddleston, of Fairbanks; and W.B. Hastings of Anchorage. The latter had been in Alaska thirty years and was formerly with the Alaska

Douglas Gus Jensen
Services for Douglas G. Jensen, 25, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday
at Kehl's Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastor Don Stump officiating. Mr. Jensen's body was found Oct. 20 in
Pedro Bay.
Born Aug. 27, 1960 in Anchorage, he was a life-long Alaska resident, graduating from Dimond High in 1978. He worked
as a commercial fisherman. He is survived by his parents, Gus and Mary Jensen of Pedro Bay; one brother, Vern,
also of Pedro Bay; seven sisters, Irene Fleury of Palmer, Janet Jensen of Anchorage, Evelyn Jensen of Valdez, Lillian
White of Bellingham, Wash., Sarah Thiele of Kasilof, Martha Jensen of Anchorage and Grace Ahnupkana of Wasilla;
two uncles, Walter Johnson of Homer and Luther Hobson of Lime Village; and one aunt, Alma Jacko of Anchorage.

Martha E. Matthews
Services for Martha E. Matthews, 53, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Kehl's Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Father
Norman Elliott officiating. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. She died Oct. 7 at
Providence Hospital.
Born July 19, 1932 in Stevens Village, she was a life-long Alaska resident and worked as a nurse's aide in Tanana,
Bethel and Anchorage. Mrs. Matthews is survived by her husband, Maurice, of Anchorage; two sons, Gary, of Wasilla
and John, of Anchorage; four daughters, Laura Imhoff of New York, Jamie Koyama of California, Cheryl Martinson
of Wasilla and Shelby Matthews of Anchorage; one brother, Frank Albert of Tanana; two sisters, Sophie Noecker of
Spokane, Wash., and Hazel Nicholai of Willow; and six grandchildren.
Burial will be in Tanana.
