Old Timers Die
The latest mail brings the report of the deaths of two well known old timers. They are W.H.
Huddleston, of Fairbanks; and W.B. Hastings of Anchorage. The latter had been in Alaska thirty years and was formerly with the Alaska

Mark Sullivan
Seattle Wash., March 24-Mark L. Sullivan, an attorney who won a large fortune
in the mining litigation of early days in Nome and Fairbanks and made great profit by getting the first shipment
of supplies into the Iditarod country last year, died suddenly yesterday at Fairbanks, Alaska, where he had arrived
a week before from the Iditarod by dog team after a 26 day journey. [Billings

Joseph Teema
Joseph Teeman (Joseph Noe Mequasak) of Athabascan Alaskan Heritage born October 13, 1988 in Fairbanks, Alaska &
died: August 15, 2007 in Portland, Oregon.
Memorial Service to be held September 15, 2007 at Many Nations Longhouse at the University of Oregon. He is survived
by his mother & father (Bonnie & Kenneth), sisters (Kelly, Kathleen, Hannah, Shayla, LeAnne, Coco, Lorraine,
Yerlonda), brothers (Nick, Quentin, Eli, Aaron, Rain, Zack & Adam). [From
