W. R. Nowlin of Tichnor Dies
William R. Nowlin, 84 died at his home at Tichnor Thursday, March 26.
He spent most of his life in Arkansas county, where he was for many years engaged in farming. He was a native of Calloway, Kentucky.
Surviving are three daughter, Mrs. Hallie Gerberding, Mrs. Sid Taylor and Mrs. Madie Harper; a son Jack Nowlin; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildre. His wife preceded him in death two years ago. he was one of the oldest members of teh Campshed church.
Funeral services were conducted Saturdcay at 2p.m. at Campshed church by the Rev. C.H. Gilliam, assisted by the Rev. Virgil Keeley of Gillett.
