DERMOTT - Ilar Lee Connard, 83, of Dermott died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001 at McGehee Desha County Hospital in McGehee. She was born July 18, 1918 in Des Arc. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Dermott, a retired cafeteria worker and a homemaker.
Mrs. Connard is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Arvis Connard; five children, Eugene Connard of Lake Village, Maxine Reaves of Bellaire Community, John Connard of Monticello, Margaret Knight of Dermott and Lisa Hicks of Dermott; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday at Griffin Funeral Service of McGehee. Graveside service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Dermott Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Burke officiating. Arrangements are by Griffin Funeral Service of Dermott. Memorials may be made to Dermott City Nursing Home, P.O. Box 710, Dermott, Ark., 71638 or your favorite charity.

DERMOTT - Mary Alvie Connard, age 100, died July 8 at her residence. She was a retired seamstress and a member of the Bellaire Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Arvis Connard of Dermott; three daughters, Dovie Sawyer of Dermott; Marie Davis of Dermott and Altha Gibson, also of Dermott, 17 grandchildren, 26 greatgrandchildren and 10 great-greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services were at Dupwe and Sons Chapel at 10 a.m. today, July 11.
Rev. Hughey Jacobs and Rev. J.F. Perry officiated the ceremonies with burial being in Union Cemetery.
