An Army flier was killed Tuesday
when his P-38 pursuit plane crashed and burst into flames near
Brinkley. The flier was identified as Lieut.
J. C. Cunningham, 25, of Morrilton, Ark. The
plane carried no other persons. Cause of the crash has not
been determined.
