Waukegan, IL-- LUCILLE J. HICKS, 61,
of Watkins,
Colorado, died October 8, 1997 in Watkins. She was born October 5, 1935
in Lake City AR, was raised and educated in Dell, Arkansas, and moved
to Colorado in March, 1986. She was a homemaker. She was a member of
the Church of Christ, Aurora, CO.
Surviving are her husband, Hurshel R. Hicks of Watkins; 1 daughter,
Charlotte Jean Roth of Englewood, CO; sons Coy Hurshel Hicks of
Winthrop Harbor, IL and Thomas Elbert Hicks of Aurora, CO; 7
grandchildren; sisters Kathryn Pike of Tyler, Tex., and Alta Mae
Armstrong of Russelville, AR; 1 brother, Curtis Lewis Sutton of Paris,
Tex.
Services to be held at the Antioch Church of Christ, Independence
County, AR. Burial at Young Cemetery, AR.

Jonesboro, AR--Gary D. Horne, 60, of
Jonesboro
died Sunday, May 11, 2008 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He
was
born in Paragould into the family of Forrest and Daisy Horne.
He
attended Valley View School and was retired from the U. S. Post Office,
serving in Jonesboro and Grubbs for 35 years. He attended
Temple
Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, June Horne of the home; one son, Chance
Horne, and wife Jenni of Jonesboro; one daughter, Hannah Clark and
husband, Terry of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Hunter Clark, Clayton
and Carly Horne, all of Jonesboro; and one brother, Carl Horne of
Jonesboro. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one
brother, Donnie Horne.
Active pallbearers will include: Gale Ransone, Jesse Hanks,
Dwight Tosh, Glen Joiner, Edward Haun and Jim Duncan.
Honorary
pallbearers will be Steve Bracy and the Valley View graduating class of
1966.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Roller-Farmers
Union, Chapel with Larry Rice and Jerry Jolly officiating.
Burial
will follow in McDaniel Cemetery. Visitation will be this
evening
from 5-8 at Roller-Farmer Union Funeral Home.
