BESSIE
AARON,
92, of Whitewater, Mo., formerly of Marion, Ark., homemaker, died of
heart disease Friday in Jackson, Mo. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday
at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis with burial in
Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion. She was a member of First Baptist
Church in Marion. She leaves two daughters, Lewanda Burden of
Whitewater and Merle Stimpson of Grassy, Mo.; a son, Charles Aaron of
Marion, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and nine

MARION, ARK. -
RAYMOND LEO ASHLEY, 90, died Nov. 4, 2001, at his home.
Born April 23, 1911, in Houlka, Miss., son of the late Oscar D. and Eola R. Ashley, he was a retired farmer.
Survivors include: one daughter, Barbara Ross of Sikeston, MO; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Gene
Raymond Ashley; four brothers, Reno Ashley, Irvin Ashley, Virgil Ashley
and J. B. Ashley; and three sisters, Lorena Cole, Ethel Jacks and May
Davis.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, Mo.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Sikeston
Garden of Memories Cemetery with Johnny Hester, minister of the Shady
Acres Church of Christ, officiating.
