GORMAN WAID, age 75 died Friday, February 13, 2004. Services are 1P.M.
Monday, February 16, 2004, graveside in Moseley Family Cemetery on
Griffin Road in Macon. -Born in Faulkner County, AR, she was a
homemaker and widow of the late Gordon B. "Joe" Waid. She was a former
resident of Lake Sinclair. -Survivors include children, Joe G. and
Martha Waid and Charles W. and Debbie Waid; grandchildren, Joe G. Waid,
II, Jamie and Jessie Waid, Janna and Amanda Waid, Jimmy and Kimberly
Bagley and Melissa Godfrey; great-grandchildren, Dilan and Daniel. -The
family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, February
15 at Rooks Funeral Home in Byron. -Rooks Funeral Home in Byron has
charge of arrangements.

MEMPHIS, TN--EUGENE J. WATKINS, 78, of
Memphis, railroad machinist, died of cancer Tuesday at Methodist
Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Memphis Funeral Home
Union Chapel with burial in Springhill Cemetery in Faulkner County,
Ark.
He was a member of Longstreet United Methodist Church.
Mr. Watkins, the husband of Ruth Watkins, also leaves two daughters,
Kimble McTyre and Geneva Stroud, both of Memphis; two brothers, Arnold
Watkins of Leachville, Ark., and Woodrow Watkins of Mayflower, Ark.,
seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
