"Mother Of Suffrage" Dies.
Sacramento, Cal., March 8- Mrs. L.F. Spencer, widow of
the late E.V. Spencer, and who has been termed "the mother of woman
suffrage in California," is dead in Susanville. She was 67 years
old. Mrs. Spencer was a native of Michigan.
