At Rattlesnake Bar, Sept. 6, L. E. Miller, aged 45 years.

At Dutch Flat, Sept. 9, Dr. G. F. Fross, aged 43 years and 6 months.

At Rocklin, Sept. 9, Joseph L. Goolsby, aged 45 years.

At the County Hospital near Auburn, Sept. 21, of pyemia, Manuel Olivas, a native of Mexico, aged 39 years.

In Colfax, Sept. 2, Gertrude, infant daughter of A. H. and S. R. Goodrich.

At Northville, Wayne County, Michigan, Sept. 7, of cancer, Marinda Dorman Hollenbeck, wife of T. P. Barrett, aged 61 years, 6 months and 8 days, formerly of Berkshire County, Massachusetts. Mrs. Barrett was the mother of our respected fellow citizen, O. W. Hollenbeck.

In Auburn, Oct. 6, at the residence of Dr. J. R. Crandall, Clara Woodnan, aged 7 years and 4 months, daughter of W. K. and Abbie M. Flint of Oakland.

Near Cisco, October 14th, Captain Patrick Munday, aged 44 years.

Died at East Machias, Washington County, Maine, September 10th, Jeremiah Munson, aged 84 years. Deceased was the father of W. L. Munson of Gold Run.

In Todd’s Valley, October 8th, Emeline L., eldest daughter of Morris and M. J. Smith, aged 10 years and 4 days.

In Todd’s Valley, October 14th, George Berthold, son of W. and M. J. Barnes, aged 4 months.

In Todd’s Valley, October 14th, Alice, aged 1 year and 3 months, daughter of A. and Louise S. Huntley.

In Auburn, October 16th, Gottfried Schultheiss, aged 50 years, a native of Gutenbach, Baden, Germany.

At Auburn, Nov. 10, Gould Osborn, aged 60 years, a native of Connecticut.

At the residence of G. B. Predmore near Clipper Gap, Nov. 12, Henry E. Ashurn, aged 46 years, a native of Kentucky.
