MARRIED
In Sacramento City, Jan. 5, 1850, by the
Rev. Mr. Burnham, the Hon. Pierre B. Cornwall and Miss Georgiana
Cutler, step-daughter of D. G. Whitney, Esq. [This is the
second marriage that has taken place in our city, and one which was
celebrated with all the “pomp and circumstance” attendant upon occasions
of a similar nature in fashionable life elsewhere. Other engagements
compelling us to leave at an early hour, we take this opportunity to
congratulate the “happy pair” upon the bright and interesting prospects
before them.]
