Prominent Attorney of San Francisco is Dead
San Francisco, Aug. 26 Thomas R. Haven, aged 66, prominent San
Francisco Attorney and formerly a jurist on the California appellate
court, died suddenly at his home here today. Death was due to heart
trouble. He is survived by his widow and two sons, Harold and Kemp.
Funeral services will be held Friday.

Francisco, Monday night, by Jack Naughton, a man whom he had
befriended for years.

Fire Chief Buried
Impressive services were held here Sunday to signalize the removal
of the remains of the late Fire Chief Dennis T. Sullivan to the
final resting place at Holy Cross Cemetery. He died from hurts
received on earthquake day, April 18. In yesterday's long funeral
procession were firemen and many members of the Knights of Columbus.
There was a service at St. Mary's Cathedral. Behind the hearse came
the dead chief's horse "Brownie," drawing the red-wheeled buggy so
often in service.

B. H. Boehmer Dies at Bay City
Bernard Henry Boehmer died yesterday in San Francisco following a
short illness.
Boehmer was a native of Colusa county and was also a graduate of the
local high
school. During his residence in Colusa he made many friends. For
over fifteen years
he had held a responsible position with the Alber's Milling company
in San Francisco.
he was the oldest son of John Boehmer of Colusa. Besides his father
he is survived by
two sisters, Miss Katherine Lane of Richmond and Miss Stella Boehmer
of San Francisco,
three brothers, George Boehmer of Richmond. Alphonse Boehmer and
Henry Boehmer of
Bakersfield. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes
church Tuesday
morning at 10 o'clock. Sullivan Bros. will have charge of the
interment

Funeral services for Bernard Henry Boehmer, former Colusan, who died
Friday at San
Francisco after a short illness were held this morning from the
Catholic church. The
services were conducted by Rev. Father James Vaughn at 10 o'clock.
Interment was
made under direction of Sullivan Bros. Pallbearers were Everett
Welch, Lewis Putman,
L. Middlecamp, Anthony Steidlmayer, Everett Bowes and H. G. Monsen

Major Isaac Graham, the old pioneer, trapper, hunter and India
killer of
the West and of California, died in San Francisco, November 6, 1863.
Deceased was born in Botetourt County, Virginia, of Scotch parents,
and at an
early age moved to Kentucky,
from whence he wandered over the entire West, for years leading a
roving life on
the borders of civilization. He was present at the death of the
famous Daniel Boone, in Calloway County, Missouri, and knew
personally many of
the co-patriots of that now world renowned old pioneer, hunter
and soldier. Deceased was 64 years of age at the time of his death.
