Loving father of Janet Quartoroli of Stockton and the late Fred B Norton. dear father in law to Michael Quartoroli of Stockton, Dear brother of Sue Noland and the late Ted R Norton. Cherished grandfather of six and great grandfather of nine. Memorial contributions may be made to the Senior Services, Meals on Wheels or the charity of your choice. A native of Los Angeles, California aged 87 years. Friends and relatives are invited to attend funeral services at the De Young Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Drive, Stockton, Ca, Wednesday, December 29, 1999 beginning at 11:00 am. In Stockton, CA, May 31, 2002, Marjorie Fouch Norton, beloved wife of the late G. Byron Norton, Devoted mother of Janet Quartaroli and son-in-law Michael Quartaroli of Stockton and stepmother of the late Fred B Norton. Dear sister of Rose Marie Miller of Oakhurst, Ca and also survived by nieces and nephews. The family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Aid Society of Northern California, 105 S Washington St., Lodi, Ca 95240 or the Y.M.C.A. Cheadle Family Center, 1304 S. San Joaquin St., Stockton, Ca 95206. A native of Colusa, Ca, aged 82 years. Family and friends are invited to a Rosary Service at the McNary- Moore Funeral Home, Colusa, Ca (phone 530-458-2111) on Tuesday, June 4, 2002 at 6:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Colusa on wednesday, June 5 at 12:00 noon. Burial is at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Colusa. Funeral Held for Mrs. C.K. Hoffman
Final rites for Mrs. Christiana Hoffman, 74, of 454 N. Golden Gate, who died in a local hospital Wednesday will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of B.C. Wallace and son. Mrs. Hoffman was a resident of Stockton five years, coming here from San Andreas. She has been ill for two months. She was the mother of Viola E. Carlson of Linden. Clay Hoffman of Stockton, Doris Woodward of San Andreas, Mrs. Laura Phillips of Forsyth Mont., Rose Hulon of Trident, Mont. Bertha Sinkey of Big Timber, Mont. Five brothers and sisters also survive.

Mrs. Hattie Schroeder, 89, of Fortuna died Friday morning in the Fortuna hospital. She was born Sept. 7, 1872 in Rockport, Missouri, spending her youth in Nebraska, also residing in Kansas before coming to California 30 years ago. She had lived in Riverside and Siskiyou county, making her home in Fortuna for the past 17 years. She was a member of the Assembly of God church of Fortuna.
Survivors include sons, Wiley Glen Schroeder of Fortuna, Cecil Carson Schroeder of Topeka, Kansas; grandchildren, Mrs. Dorothy Pancoast of Fortuna, and Mrs. Wilda Grunnert of Fortuna; six great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Goble's Fortuna Mortuary with the Rev. Samuel Sanders officiating. Interment followed in Ocean View cemetery in Eureka.
Pallbearers were Bill Taylor, Earl Taylor, Glenn Curry, A.B. Garrison, John Morrell and Harold Hough.
