Indian Boy Run Amuck
Durango, Col., Sept. 16-Frank Howe, 15(?) years old, an Indian, got a revolver Tuesday and, riding through the streets of Pagosa Junction at breakneck speed, shot and killed Annie Baker, the 4 year old daughter of James Baker, a member of the Ute tribe. The lad continued his wild dash to the hills and disappeared. (Submitted by S. Williams)

$1.01 Love Verdict By Cheyenne Jury
    Cheyenne, Wyo., Nov 18-Felin Gomez was assessed one dollar and one cent damages by a jury in district court here today in a suit brought by Joe Rodriguez, a prominent sheep man of Pogosa Springs, asking for $10,000 damages for the alienation of his wife's affections.
    Trial of the case, which had been under way for two days, attracted wide attention.
    Thirty days was granted both sides in which to file motions for a new trial. (Submitted by S. Williams)

Radio Locates Girl Runaway in Next State
    Dodge City, Kan., Nov 12-Ethel Cogan, 14, of Pogosa Springs, Colo., who disappeared from her home has been located at Ford, Kan., with three companions, two boys and a girl with whom she had run away.
    The girl was located through a message broadcast by radio from Denver. Mrs. Gary Madison, of Ford, heard the appeal from the Denver station and recognized that four young people stopping at her husband's tourist camp were the ones sought. The girl's parents were notified of her whereabouts and said they would arrive here to take her home. (Submitted by S. Williams)
