FORMER RACER KILLED
Colorado Springs, Colo., Sept. 2 - Wallace A. Coleman, assistant sales manager of the Chevrolet Motor Co., Denver, and widely known automobile race driver and aviator, was killed today while making speed test in a Chevrolet racing car to the top of Pikes Peak preparatory to the annual race September 5.

Hannah M. Collins
Hannah Michelle Collins, infant daughter of John and Michele Strosnider Collins, died Oct. 6, 1997, in Colorado Springs. She was born Jan. 5, 1997, in Colorado Springs.
Besides her parents, she is survived by a brother, Zachariah of Colorado springs; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Strosnider of Hoisington, Maggie King of Fort Worth, Texas, and August Collins of Great Bend; great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Strosnider of Manhattan, Marjorie Lowther of Concordia, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Schenk of Hoisington and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Karst of Great Bend. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Joyce Collins, and her great-grandfather, Jim Lowther.
The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Oct 10, at the Swan Law Cascade Chapel in Colorado Springs with the Rev. Joe child officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs. [Blade-Empire – October 9, 1997 - Sub. by Maurene Richard Miller]
Theron Crowningshield
Theron Crowningshield, 30 years old, and for many years a resident of this city, died yesterday at his home 118 North Nevada avenue. He was formerly editor of the Labor News and several poultry magazines. He had been a cripple for many years, and although an invalid took an active interest in life. He is survived by his mother and a brother, Roy. Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.
