WORK OF A
JEALOUS DASTARD
Central City, Colo., Oct. 18-Mrs. Gertrude Sachs, a
widow aged 32, was killed, and two boarders in her house seriously
injured by an explosion in the kitchen range. Victor Frank, aged 28,
is accused of having placed dynamite in the fuel and has been
arrested on a charge of murder. Jealousy is alleged to have promoted
the act.

Colorado Miners
Crushed to Death
Central City, Colo., March 29-Alfred Martin and Henry
James, miners, were crushed to death in the Sleepy Hollow mine by a
mass of dirt and rock which fell upon them in a drift.
