DOCTOR
ALBERT L. FOWLER WEDS MISS ACHENBACH
Miss Helen Achenbach of Pennsylvania, and Dr. A.L.
Fowler were married Wednesday morning August 12, at Roslyn Ranch,
near Rand Colo., where both were visiting. They left at once for
Denver, Chicago, New York, Quebec and Price Edwards Island and,
returning will be at home in Atlanta after September 1.
Miss Achenbach visited Atlanta in the winter and spring
as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Moyer when Dr. Fowler met here.
Their engagement was an open secret when Dr. Fowler left for the
west several weeks ago to join Miss Achenbach at a house party at
Roslyn Ranch, where her aunt was the hostess.
The marriage took place there witnessed by a group of
relatives and friends.
Dr. Fowler is one of the leading members of his
profession and specialty in the south. He is a native of Atlanta and
a graduate of the Boys' High school. His first work was on the staff
of the Atlanta Constitution. Subsequently he studied medicine in
this country and in Europe making a brilliant record.
He is one of the most popular men in Atlanta a member
of all the social clubs.

The announcement has been received in Atlanta and made by Mrs.
Ida Bell Achenbach of the marriage of her daughter, Helen, to Dr.
Alfred Lucius Fowler on Wednesday, August 12 at Roslyn Ranch Rand
Colo.
