FORMER NEVADAN TAKEN BY DEATH
     News of the death of James R. Neeley at Mancos, Colo, was received in Reno today from relatives of the former resident of Nevada.
     Mr. Neeley resided in this state for some twenty-five years, most of which time his home was in Yerington. In recent years he resided in Reno and when ill health came, removed to Colorado, his old home. Funeral services are to be conducted Thursday.

FORMER RESIDENT DEAD IN COLORADO
     James K. Neeley, for twenty-five years a former resident of Yerington and Reno and a veteran western mining man, died in Mancos, Colo., yesterday, according to information received in Reno. Funeral services will be conducted in Mancos tomorrow.

Mrs. Daniel R. Tschop, a sister of Mrs. Amanda Myers of East Berlin, died at Cortez, Colorado, on Jan. 18. She was the youngest child of the late Abraham and Hannah Bushey, of East Berlin. She went West 29 years ago and had never been East since.
