MAJCHIER, David John David John Majchier, 40, of Lebanon, beloved husband of Victoria (Stockwell) Majchier, passed into eternal life Tuesday, (January 1, 2002) in the W.W. Backus Hospital in Norwich. He was born Sept. 26, 1961 in Norwich, son of Susan (Tokar) Majchier of Franklin and the late Vincent Majchier, Sr. David had a passion for the environment, which was reflected in his devotion to his career with the Department of Environmental Protection. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hiking, skiing, hunting, sailing, and his family. His ability to live life everyday to its fullest potential was inspirational to everyone who knew him. Last summer, he fulfilled his dream of traveling out west with his family and niece. All his friends, who stayed by his side throughout his courageous battle with cancer, he holds dear in his heart, forever. His humor and smile will always shine brightly over us through the clouds and sky above. Besides his wife and mother, his survivors include three sons, Joshua, Lloyd and David Majchier of Lebanon; three brothers, Philip, Steven and Vincent, Jr. of Franklin; two brothers-in-law, his life-long friend, James Stockwell and Richard Stockwell of Fitchville. He also leaves many nieces and nephews, whom he adored. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Bruce Stockwell. His Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 12, 10 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 67 West Town St., Lebanon. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice. funeral of Miss Mamie McCrohan, aged 16, daughter of Bat McCrohan,
who died last Tuesday night, took place from her father’s residence
on ?>Pleasant
street Thursday morning. The funeral services were
held in St. Andrew’s church. The Rev. Father May officiated. Interment was in St. Andrews cemetery. Six young friends of the
deceased acted as bearers.
Besides her father and mother the deceased leaves three
brothers and one sister to mourn her loss.?>

Stanley Milosz Stanley Milosz, 80, of Lebanon died Monday evening, (May 26, 2003) at the Harrington Court Genesis Elder Care Center in Colchester. He was born May 20, 1923 in Poland and emigrated to America after World War II. Mr. Milosz will be remembered for his enthusiasm with regard to working. He worked for Colt Firearms in Hartford and retired in the late 1980's. He then went on to work for Burnham's Farm in East Hartford, where he worked as a farm hand for many years. His love of gardening extended to his own back yard, where he grew an enormous garden every year. Mr. Milosz was the last survivor of his immediate family. He leaves nieces and nephews, John and Traci Neal, with whom he made his home, and their children, Halley and Tommy Neal, all of Lebanon; Todd and Tina Bickmore and their children, Devin and Chera, all of Cromwell; Peter Bickmore and Kelly Larkin and his daughter Annie of Mt. Claire, NJ and John and Ann DiFranco of Middlefield. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 22, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Exeter Cemetery, Rte. 207, Lebanon. Burial will follow immediately at the conclusion of ceremonies. The Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home of Colchester has been entrusted with arrangements. Russell H. Montminy, Jr. Russell H. Montminy, Jr., 22, of First St., Lebanon formerly of Enfield died Thursday, (May 8, 2003) as a result of an auto accident. Born Nov. 16, 1980 in Hartford, Russell was the beloved son of Russell H. Montminy, Sr., of Lebanon and Janet a. Montminy of Enfield. Russell leaves behind a son Anthony Russell Montminy and mother of his son, Ashley Burke, both of Lebanon. He also leaves behind his siblings, Jennifer, Christopher and Angela all of Lebanon; maternal grandmother, Janet A. Therrien-Baker of Enfield; paternal grandparents Russell J. & Carolyn Montminy of Florida; he also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins. Russell's love for music inspired him to pursue his dream to become a rapper. He wrote his own music and he was to meet with a record company in New York. He also leaves behind many friends from all over Connecticut. Russell will be remembered most for his love for his son, family, friends, music and cars. Funeral services will be Friday May 16, 2 p.m. at Exeter Cemetery in Lebanon, on Rt. 207. There are no calling house. Ruth E. Padewski Ruth Elaine Padewski, 71, Clubhouse Rd, Lebanon, died Monday (January 21, 2002) at the Windham Community Memorial Hospital. Born in Hartford on Nov. 19, 1930, she was a daughter of the late John and Ruth (Guest) McHugh. She graduated from East Hartford High in 1948. In 1955, she wed Bruno Padewski in Windsor Locks. He predeceased her on June 27, 1984. While raising her family in Lebanon, she was involved in scouting when her children where young. She had a great love for her pets, but most importantly, she was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by three children, Brice and wife, Judy Padewski, Tunie and husband, John Parry and Mary Bolduc, all of Lebanon; a sister, Joni, and husband, James Varrelman of Manchester; seven grandchildren; three nieces; two nephews and several extended family members and friends. Calling hours are Saturday morning 9-11 a.m. at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Road, Colchester, before an 11 a.m. Chapel Service. Interment will follow in the Exeter Cemetery, Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington 06111-1593.
