Farm House in Walton County, Florida ca 1929 ********** Walton County, FL was created in 1824 and was named after George Walton. Walton was Secretary of Florid Territory 1821-1826. Walton county is diverse in its terrain. It contains the highest point in Florida and known for its sand dune beaches.
