| FITZPATRICK-HECKER Marriage in Quitman. Quitman, Ga., July 9 - Z.I. Fitzpatrick, of Madison, Morgan County, was married here last night to Miss Ida L. Hecker, a popular and charming young lady. The wedding was a great affair. ( July 10, 1884, The Atlanta Constitution, Atlanta GA, Submitted by. S Williams) WADE-JONES A happy marriage took place in Quitman, Ga., on the 10th instant. The contracting parties were Miss May Jones and Mr. J.D. Wade Jr. The ceremony took place at the Methodist church, Rev. D.T. Riley officiating. The bride and groom are well and favorably known in Atlanta. The best wishes of many friends are extended to Mr. and Mrs. Wade. (April 17, 1888 The Atlanta Constitution, Atlanta GA - Submitted by S. Williams) In military as well as social circles the announcement of the marriage of Miss Elizabeth Chason, of Bainbridge, and Dr. William L. Wilkinson, of Quitman, which occurred Tuesday in Thomasville, is of interest. Dr. Wilkinson holds a commission as medical officer with the Second battalion, Second Georgia Infantry, with headquarters for the present located in Albany. His bride is one of Bainbridge’s most attractive young ladies. They will make their home at Albany until the troops are called upon to move to some other point.
