County's Oldest - 96 Years Young

 Mrs. J. H. Seals To Recieve Friends At Home Here - Mrs. J. H. Seals, Camden County's oldest white citizen will celebrate her ninety-sixth birthday next Wednesday, November 26, at her Kingsland home, where she resides with her son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Carl N. Seals.

 The prominent life long resident expects to spend the day of celebration in receiving friends and her close kin during the morning hours from 9 until 11 o'clock and in the afternoon from 3 until 6 o'clock.

 A birthday cake with ? and all the fixings will serve to remind the alert and kindly spirited lady that she has passed another milestone in her active life.

A little history about her:  Her name is Elizabeth Newton Scott Seals.  She married John Hebbard Seals Nov. 26, 1876, is the daughter of Benjamin Griswald and Sarah Seagrove (Demott) Scott.  She was known as “Aunt Bett”. [Contact Madena Thomason-Whitesell concerning this article.]
