Runaway Marriage,
Waycross Ga. May 15,-(Special)—
A very .romantic marriage occurred at Folkston, Ga. Tuesday morning. The contracting parties were a Mr Gear and Miss Bishop, a runaway couple from, Jacksonville, Fla. The young couple were nervous and showed signs
of excitement when the people of Folkston crowded around the place where they were waiting to be married. Their parents objected to the marriage and they quietly left their homes and came to Folkston, where they called for a minister to perform the ceremony. The people of Folkston heard of the runaway and they flocked to the scene a of the marriage. It created some excitement in the little village for a few hours.

REVILLE-MARTIN
One of the prettiest home weddings of  "the month of roses" took place at the home of Dr. and Mrs. T. P. Reville at  Folkston recently, when they gave their daughter Clyde in marriage to Job Martin of Chickamauga.   The bride was
becomingly gowned in a beautiful bridal dress of white silk crepe, lace trimmed and carried roses. Mrs, W, B. Gibbs, as matron of honor, preceded the bride, who came In unattended with the groom promptly at the designated hour, 8 o'clock, took their places in the hallway parlor door and were married by Dr. George F. Wilkin, formerly of Minneapolis, Minn., now of Homeland, Ga., In presence of the family circle. A ring ceremony was used according to the tenets of the Methodist church. After congratulations the bridal robes were exchanged for traveling garb—a "Copenhagen blue" coat suit, and Mr. and Mrs. Martin took the Seminole for Chattanooga, and will be at home to their friends in Chickamauga after July 1. The bride is the accomplished daughter of Mr, and Mrs. T. P. Reville, formerly of Brunswick, who moved to Folkston over three years ago.   She has been engaged as a teacher In tho city schools at Folkston and elsewhere for several years, spending her vacations with her parents mere. She Is a charming young lady, and has hosts of friends who showered her with beautiful wedding gifts as a token of their regard as a friend and educator. Mr. Martin is a rising young railroad man, and is engaged with the Georgia Central railroad. The young couple will be a desirable addition to the society of Chickaranuga, which will be greatly enhanced by their presence and qualification. Owing to the recent death of the bride's maternal grandmother the wedding was quiet. The out-of-town guests were Mrs. Toy and Miss Charlotte Cuahlug of Homeland. Miss Laura Johnson of Brunswick, Ben Powell of Shickamauga. From Folkston were Mrs. Rodgers and daughter Eva, Mrs. Wilson and daughter Floy, Mlisea Esale Hoberson, Lily Joyner. Laura and Flora Gowon; Messrs, Don Pearce and Dolph Wafnright, Mr. A. C. Stewart.

State Candidate Marries. A. Pratt Williams, of Folkston, Recently Announce for Governor
Waycross,  July 17—A,  Pratt Williams, of Folkston  who early this year announced that he was a candidate for governor of Georgia, and who has distributed many cards through this section, was married last Wednesday, according
to an announcement from Folkston. The marriage was performed at the home of Judge J J. Stokes and the bride, Miss Addle Minchew, of Winokur, is one of Charlton's most charming young ladles. Mr. Williams is an attorney and will continue to make his home at Folkston, where he and his wife are receiving congratulations of their many friends.
