ALSTON-JONES NUPTIAL.
A beautiful wedding of the past two weeks was that of
Miss Madeline Louise Jones and Mr. James H. A. Alston of Charleston, S. C. which occurred Wedensday evening, September 25th, at 8:30, at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs Louise C. Beasley. The parlor was tastily decorated with ferns and roses. To the strains of a melodious wedding march, played by Miss Charlotte Genross, the bridal party entered. The flower girls were the little Misses Irene Houston and Julia Shepherd who wore dainty lingerie. The bride's maid, Miss Lucile E. Frazier of Charleston, S. C , a cousin, of the groom, was becomingly gowned in a pink marquisette with rich lace and carried a bouquet of pink rosebuds and ferns. The bride entering on the arm of her uncle, Mr. W. H. Cook, of Charleston, S. C., was beautifully gowned in white messaline elaborately trimmed with rich lace and crystals, while the groom and his best man, Mr. Joseph Parker, entered the parlor from an opposite direction and met the bridal party under an arch of vines and white roses. The ceremonies were performed by Rev Daniel Wright of the First Bryan Baptist Church. The contracting parties were the recipients of many beautilul and useful presents which showed the great esteem in which they were held by their many friends. Among the many guests were Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Cook, Mrs Marv C. Powell, Mrs. Elizabeth Evans and Miss Lucile E. Frazier all of Charleston, S. C. BAKER-TILLIE NUPTIALS
A wedding which attracted much interest was that of Miss Janie L. Tillie and Mr. Rufus Leon Baker, which occurred Wednesday evening at the home of the bride, 624 Gwinnett street., west, at 8 o'clock. Rev. Daniel Wright performed the ceremony which was witnessed by a large crowd of friends of the contracting parties. The house was beautifully decorated for the occasion and many useful and elegant presents were received by the couple. The bride was attended by Miss Sadie Green, and Mr. Earle Parks was best man. The bride is a graduate of Spellman Seminary and the groom is a graduate of the Georgia State College. Mr. and Mrs. Baker left early next morning for about a week's stay in points in Florida, after which they will return to the city and reside at 624 Gwinnett street, west. COLLIER-HOLMAN
MARRIED QUIETLY --- Rev. T. C. Collier

DEMERE-SEABROOKS
Mrs. Anna Seabrooks

MARRIAGE. T
he marriage of Miss Lucy Pauline Watts to Mr. T. L. Drumwright took place last Thursday evening, 10 o'clock at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Williams, 820 Gwinnett street, east, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. N. M. Clarke. of 1206 East Gwinnett street, was married to Miss Daisy Mae Payne by Rev. C. W. Lawson at McRae, Ga., Sunday, February 16th, at 2 p. m. A reception was held at the new home Monday night. Those who contribured presents were Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Brabham, 768 East Waldburg; Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Hopins, 1119 East Gwinnett; Mr. and Mrs. Pray, 1114 East Hall street; Mr. and Mrs. L. M. JOHNSON-GREEN
HAPPILY WEDDED.
On Wednesday evening the home of Mrs. Catherine E. Greene 623 W. Gwinnett St., was the scene of a simple but pretty wedding, when her daughter, Miss Clinton C. Green and Mr. Robt. J. Johnson were united in marriage by Rev. H. L. Heywood. The parlor was decorated with vines and potted plants. The bride's dress was of lingere, very prettily trimmed in laces and finished at the waist with a girdle of messaline, silk ribbon. She carried a bunch of bridal roses. The presents were handsome and numerous, many of them having come from out of town. Both the bride and groom are very popular among their large circle of friends, who extend them hearty congratulations and best wishes for future happiness.   [Savannah Tribune, June 11, 1910 - submitted by C. MARRIAGE ANNOUNCEMENT -- Mrs. Anna B. Stiles
, 404 Eatt 31st St., wishes to announce the marriage of her daughter, Theodocia to Mr. Marion O. Johnson, which took place at St. Augustine's Mission on last Tuesday nignt, Rev. M. M. LAMBERT-LEVERETT NUPTIAL
Miss Willie Jane Leverett
, the beautiful and accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Leverett, of Leverett, Ga., and Mr. B.J. Lambert of this city were joined in holy wedlock, October 8th, 1912, at the home of the bride. A host of friends were in attendance and many useful tokens of esteem and appreciation were received. Alter the conclusion of the ceremonies, the contracting parties left on a tour of ten days for Jacksonville and south Florida. They will be domiciled in one of the new apartments on East Gwinnett street. A reception was held in their honor at 505 Hall street, east, ou Thursday night last. ROBINSON-JONES
The marriage of Miss Helen Jones and Mr. Clarence Robinson, Jr., was a beautiful home event, taking place on Wednesday evening of last week at 814 East Gwinnett street, Rev. Este officiating. The house was beautiful adorned with palms and ferns. Mrs. Virginia Pinckney played the wedding march. The bride wore a gown of white silk crepe-de-chene trimmed with all over shadow lace with a liberty silk girdle and carried a bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. Her veil was worn with a cap of lace and half wreath of orange blossoms. She wore a beautiful necklace of twenty four pearls. Miss Clara Thompson was brides maid and wore a gown of white crepe trimmed with Irish lace and carried a bouquet of daisies. The bride entered on the arms of her brother, Mr. W. B. Miss Matilda Jones and Mr. Chas. E. Stevens were married Thursday evening last at Chicago. Mr. Stevens is an old Savannahian, but has been residing in Chicago for the past several years. His friends in this city extend him congratulation.
