Adel Ga., April 3.— A
marriage of unusual interest was that of J. E.
May and Mrs,. Sallie Bourquin at the residence of the bride's parents,
Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Parrish tonight at 9 o'clock. The ceremony was
performed by Rev. A. C. Pyle, of the Baptist Church. The contracting
parties are among the most popular people in Adel. They left to-night
for Savannah and other cities on a tour of a week or so, after which
they will be at home to their friends in Adel.

Burris-Parrish.
C0RDELE, Ga., Aug. 9.—A
marriage of much Interest and a complete
surprise to the social set of Cordele was solemnized
at noon yesterday when Mrs, Fannie Burris became the bride of Mr. S. A.
Parrish, of Adel.
The ceremony was performed By Rev. Frank W. Campbell, pastor of
the Baptist church,
at the residence of the bride's sister, Mrs. G. L. Scandrett.
Only members of the family were present Mr. Parrish was accompanied by
his brother,
Mr. P. and Mr. W. K, Clements, of couple left at 12:20 over the A.B.
& A Railroad for the mountains of North Carolina,
where they will spend several weeks before returning to their future
home at Adel.
Mrs. Parrish has been very popular here as Mrs. Burris and has many
friends throughout this section.
Mr. Parrish is a prominent business man of Adel and numbers his friends
there by the score.

Weddings Galore About Adel,
Adel, Ga., Oct 30
—The matrimonial fever is spreading in these
parts. On Tuesday afternoon Rev T J .Stanley of this place went down to
Hahira, where he officiated the marriage of Professor J. W. Outlaw to
Miss Lena Lewis. These are well-known young people, each being public
school teachers
for several years past and they have hosts of "friends who shower
hearty congratulations
On Wednesday afternoon, at the home of Mr. P. P. Hires, near town, Rev.
E. W. Bryan and Miss Temple Hires were untied in the holy bonds of
wedlock. Elder Charlie Stallings performing the ceremony Elder Bryan is
a promising young Primitive Baptist preacher and his bride is the
pretty daughter of a prosperous farmer.
On Wednesday night at the residence of Mr. Clayton Folsom, about three
miles from town, Mr. Charlie Exum and Miss Zona Folsom were married,
Rev. J. T. Stanley pronouncing the words that made them man and wife.
Mr. Exum is a hustling young farmer, and his pretty bride will prove a
most worthy helpmeet

MARRIAGE OF POPULAR COUPLE AT ADEL MONDAY
ADEL. Ga,, Nov 29.-The
marriage of Miss Mary Jones, of Adel and Jas. S.
Peter, of Manchester, this state, here last night was an event of
unusual interest.
The bride is a daughter of M. W. Jones and is one of the most
attractive young women In this section. The groom is a prominent young
man.
The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's father Rev. G. W.
Hutchinson, of Sparks, officiated.

BERRIEN COUPLE MARRY WHILE SEATED IN BUGGY ADEL,

Jones, and Miss Mamie Walker, of Riverbend
district, were married while seated in a buggy near the Presbyterian
Church here Sunday afternoon, Rev. Charles W Curry, of the Methodist

WEDDING AT ADEL
ADEL, Dec. 18.—Miss
Jessie Dampier of this city and Gordon McCardle of
Valdosta were married at the home of the bride's parents here yesterday
afternoon. Rev. Chas. W. Curry of the Methodist church officiated. The
bride is a beautiful young woman. The young man is connected with the
Atlantic Coast Line Railroad at Valdosta, The young couple left soon
after the marriage for Savannah and other cities on a bridal tour.
They will reside at Valdosta.

DR. SHEPARD MARRIES MISS ROUNDTREE AT ADEL
ADEL, April 12.—Dr.
William Shepard, a prominent physician of Adel, and
Miss Temple Rountree, one of Berrien's most excellent young women, were
married at the Methodist parsonage here this afternoon, Rev Charles
Curry, officiating, The happy couple have the.best wishes of many
friends.

CAPTAIN YOUNG WEDS DAUGHTER OF F. H. HALL
ADEL. Dec. 5. —A
marriage of unusual interest here today, was that of
Miss Martha Hall and Captain Jas. Scott Young. Jr.. of Pittsburg, Pa.
now stationed at Fort McPherson. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and
Mrs, F. H. Hall. a graduate of Agnes Scott Institute and one of the
most charming young women, in the state. The ceremony was
performed by Rev. M. E Peabody, of Ivy, S. C. an uncle of the bride, at
the home of the bride's parents.

Miss Jennie Pope and W. M. Tyson
Miss Jennie Pope
and W. M. Tyson were married at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr.
and Mrs. J. T. Pope, in Adel, Thursday night, at 8 o’clock. The
ceremony was performed by Rev. S. W. Brown, of Pinehurst, the minister
who officiated at the marriage of the bride’s parents. The bride is one
of the most attractive young women in Adel, while the groom is the
popular assistant cashier of the Bank of Adel. A wide circle of friends
extend best wishes to the happy couple.
