Marriage and Wedding Announcements

CRANN

Miss Rosa
Lowman and Rev. W. A. Crann, both of Portsmouth. Va., were married on
Wednesday evening at the home
of Rev. C. E.
Weltner, of tha Luthan church in Brunswick. Mr. Woltner was assisted in
the marriage service by Rev. W. H. Chapman,
of the
Presbyterian church there. After the ceremony Mr, and Mrs. Crann left,
via Columbia, for Portsmouth, where they will reside.
ANDERSON-HOTTE
June 28 1914
A marriage
taking place at the parsonage of the First Baptist church, in Brunswick
on Thursday evening,
was that of Miss Pearl Anderson and Henry O. Hotte, Rev. L. E. Roberts
officiating.
The occasion
was a very quiet one, being witnessed by oniy a few near relatives. The
bride is the youngest daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. J. H. Anderson and by her lovable disposition has endeared herself to a large
circle of friends.
Mr. Hotte is of sterling qualities and ranks high in business
circles.They will continue to reside In Brunswick.
BURNEY-NEWTON
A marriage of interest to many Brunswick friends, occurring on
Christmas morning, was that of Miss Margaret Burney, of Brunswick, to
Charles Newton, of Hahira. The ceremony was performed at the Methodist
parsonage by Rev. Loy Warwick, and was witnessed by a few intimate
friends. Mr. and Mrs. Newton left Brunswick on a morning train for
Hahira.

BRINSON-OVERSTREET
Mr. and Mrs. Ben L. Brinson, of Stillmore, announce the marriage of
their daughter, Annie Belle, to Mr. Sam J. Overstreet, of Brunswick.
The marriage ceremony was performed by Rev. Bicker in Atlanta, on
September 29.
Mrs. Overstreet is a recent graduate in oratory from Brenau College and
was on a visit there at the time of the marriage. Mr. Overstreet is a
son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Overstreet, of Brunswick. The young couple
will make their home in Brunswick, where Mr. Overstreet is in business.

BROWN-LUDOWICI
A pretty home
wedding was that of Miss Julia Brown of Sterling, Ga., and Prof, L.
Walker of Ludowici. Rev. T. J. Thomas performed the ceremony, wishing
the couple much success on their new voyage of life, they left for a
short stay at Ludowici, the home of the groom. Those motored to attend
the wedding were Dr. and Mrs. W. T. Chapman. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Wright, Rev. and Mrs. T. J. Thomas, Dr. and Mrs. Mark Casea, Mr. and
Mrs. Alex ?, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Murphy and family, Misses Katie Murphy,
Augusta Gibson and Cornelia Thomas.
