W. J. NEWSOME.
GREENSBORO,
Dec. 12.—The death of W. J. Newsome occurred at his home here early
yesterday morning. Mr. Newsome had been in failing health for some time
and his death was not unexpected.
He was 68 years of age. The funeral will occur today from the Methodist
church.

BRYSON.
GREENSBORO, Dec
12.—Mrs. Annie Kate Gresham Bryson died at the home of her parents, Mr.
and Mrs, W. J. Gresham, yesterday. Her remains were carried to Social
Circle for Interment.

Dec. 12.—Julius Boswell passed away Friday at a private sanitarlum at
Milledgeville, where he was under treatment for nervous breakdown,
which occurred while he was attending school.

ELIZABETH GRANT.
GREENSBORO,
Dec. 12.—The death of Mrs. Elizabeth Grant occurred at Atlanta
yesterday. She was 59 years of age at the time. The funeral was held
from the residence in Atlanta and the body brought here for Interment.

J. L. HARRIS.
GREENSBORO, May
31,—Funeral services for J. L, Harris, a well-known citizen of Greene
county, were held In the Baptist church here Sunday afternoon.
Interment was in Greensboro cemetery. Mr. Harris is survived by a wife
and six children, Fred M. Marcellus, Halbert, Lily May and Jessie Lou
Harris, all of Greensboro, and Mrs. James M. Meadows of Vidalia.

Mrs. Harriet
Poullain, wife of Dr. Thomas N. Poullain, a well known citizen of
Greensboro, died last Sunday, aged 79 years.
