Mrs. Addie B. Wells of

Delaigle Ave. died Tuesday in an Augusta hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral
arrangements will be announced by Dent's Undertaking Establishment.
A native of
McDuffie County, Ga., she was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church. She
had lived in Augusta most her life.
Survivors include
her husband. Jordan Wells; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Cooper, Mrs.
Agnes Walker, both of Augusta, and Mrs. Lillie E. McCloud, Brooklyn,
N.Y.; son, Willie J. Beasley, Maryland; two sisters, Mrs. Sophronia
Allen and Mrs. Ethel Jones; and 12 grandchildren.

Elvira ( Aunt Vira) Jackson died Wednesday in a McDuffie County
hospital. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Sump Branch
Baptist Church. Warren County, with the Rev. T.M Burton officiating
Burial will be in the church cemetery
Survivors include
two daughters. Mrs. Enolar Jordan and Mrs Ella L. Ivery, both of
Thomson.

Sallie Whittaker Street. 70. of Dearing. died Friday in a Washington.
Ga.. hospital.

will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Kingdom Hall. Dearing, with Perry Ray and
Jim Dobbins officiating. Burial will be in Kingdom Hall Cemetery.
She was a native of
McDuffie County and a member of Kingdom Hall.

five daughters, Mrs. Sarah Burnett and Mrs. Martha Bailey. Augusta,
Ga.. Mrs. Marjorie Reid and Miss Dorothy Street. Dearing. and Mrs.
Barbara Johnson, Thomson; four sons. T.W Street. Augusta, Calvin Street
and Eugene Street. Dearing. and Robert Street, Lexington, S.C; two
sisters. Mrs. Molly Brannon, Dearing. and Mrs. Ellie McCorkle. Augusta:
and one brother. Milton Whittaker. Dearing.

Thomson, Ga.-Ronnie
Kitchens, 21. Route 1. Mount Pleasant Road, died Wednesday at his
residence.
The funeral will be
held at 4 p.m. today at Bethel Methodist Church, Glascock County, with
the Rev. Billy Widener officiating. Burial will be in the church
cemetery.
Mr. Kitchens was a
native and life-long resident of McDuffie County.
Survivors include
his parents, Mr., and Mrs. Joe Kitchens. Thomson; and one brother.
Johnny Kitchens, Thomson.
Pallbearers will be
Woodrow Kitchens, Billy Welch, Grover Hobbs, Marion Kitchens. Ralph
Hinton and Jimmy Hinton.
