DIED. At his residence in Monroe county, on the evening of the 14th inst. Col. Churchill Gibson, in the 57th year of his age.

Juliette, Feb. 6 - The remains of J. S. Smith, who died recently, were interred in the family cemetery near Juliette.  Mr. Smith was a prominent and highly esteemed citizen.  He is survived by one daughter and one son. (The Macon Telegram - February 7, 1915)

CONCORD, Ga., March 21. – Mr. Ezra Morrison, of the firm of Morrison & Jenkins, died at his residence in this place last night, after a brief and violent attack of fever. He was an honest, upright man, and in his death the community suffers a loss. Mr. Morrison leaves a heart-broken young wife and three small children. His remains will be carried for internment to his old home, Collins, near Forsyth.

CULLODEN, Ga., Sept. 1. - Mrs. Sallie Dawson, a niece of the late Robert P. Trippe of this place, died a few days ago and was buried at the old family homestead.

Macon Telegraph 29 Sept. 1905
CULLODEN, Ga., Sept. 28. – Mr. Ellerson Carlisle, who died at the State Sanitarium, was buried here yesterday. He leaves a wife and five children to mourn his demise. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Carlisle, live in Macon.

Macon Telegraph 22 Aug. 1908
CULLODEN, Ga.,  Aug. 21. – Dr. J. H. Maddux died today after an illness of two months. The doctor was raised in Monroe County, near Smarr’s Station; was fifty-two years old, and had practiced medicine here twenty-one years. He leaves a wife and four children, three boys and one girl; also some brothers and one sister to mourn his departure. Dr. Maddux was an affable gentleman and had friends wherever known.

The little infant babe of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Johnson departed this life on last Thursday evening.
