Morgan County was formed in 1807, and is now rejoicing in a fine new Court House at Madison.
In the office of the Ordinary the wills, from 1808 to 1860, are in three books, and each book has an index for the wills,
but the first book, 1808 to 1818, has about 500 marriages, scattered through it, that are not indexed.
The records in the Clerk’s office are in good condition and all deeds are included in the Duplex index.
