Ernest Clarence Cochran

Ernest Clarence Cochran, 75, of 305 South Washington Ave., died Friday, July 28, 2000.

Born in Blue Ridge, Ga., he was a son of the late Virgil and Della Morris Cochran. He retired from Metromont and was a member of Holly Creek Baptist Church in Chatsworth, Ga.

Surviving are his wife, Edith Millsaps Cochran a daughter, Yvonne Hawkins-Campbell of Greenville sisters, Evelyn Hampton, Iva Ware, Frances Ware and Mac Stanley, all of Chatsworth, Ga. brothers, Dennis Cochran, Doyle Cochran, James Cochran and Carl Cochran, all of Chatsworth, Ga. four grandsons, David Best, Billy Cain, C. Ernest Hawkins and Steve Hawkins a granddaughter, Lori Hawkins and three great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter, Lynda Cain.

Visitation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.

Service: 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel, with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family will be at the home of Ann Lister, 303 S. Washington Ave.
