Jerry Lee Dickens, 62, of Dalton, Ga., died Friday, August 12, at his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Mary Dickens.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Dickens of Dalton, Ga.; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Don Patterson of Crandall, Ga., and Debbie and David Carroll of Benton, Tenn.; brothers, Dean Dickens of South Charleston, and Dale Dickens of Whitesville, W.Va.; sisters, Jackie Barker and Diana Gardner of Whitesville, W.Va., Janet Treadway of Ameagle, W.Va., and Rahma Clonch of Dunbar; grandchildren, Cody Young, Taylor Carroll, Autumn Carroll, Whittney Patterson, and Kaycee Patterson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday, August 15, from the chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Chatsworth, Ga., with the Rev. William Silvers officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family received friends from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday, August 14, at the funeral home.
